Welcome to the Happy Honkers blog

We all want to be happy, but that’s not always easy.  Honking is great therapy for anytime you’re miserable, so is general pottiness and viewing the world through a spacious mind and smiling eyes. There are also some pretty cool people who have done a lot of research into what makes people happy and we’re planning on helping you be happy by sharing all these sort of things with you.  We are Tahlia and Kimberley Newland, a terrible mother daughter twosome who cannot be guaranteed not to be a little strange occasionally. Tahlia in particular can be annoyingly happy, but she’s going to share her secrets with you here. Kimberley is particularly potty and  artistic and she’s going to share some of her pottiness and arty stuff here.  We hope that other members of the Honk Club will also add their pottiness and wisdom to the mix occasionally.

Now, to help you be happy -

First, buy some rose tinted glasses, just kidding, or maybe not , after all happiness is just a matter of perception. Second, think positive. Do that until we bring you the next installment. We’re not sure how long it’ll take us to get some awesome content organised, but we’ll be back soon, and if you join the Honk club or follow Tahlia on Twitter, you’ll know when the posts start rolling in.

  1. Rose-tinted glasses, eh? This reminds me of a clever turn of phrase in a song from oh, so long ago… In fact I just spent 20 minutes trying to find the original, but, alas! What they talked about was “…looking at the rose through world-colored glasses. I always thought that was rather clever.

Good luck on your new venture!

  2. I like that, Richard, ‘looking at the rose through world coloured glasses’. It’s always good to turn things areound and look at them a different way. Perhaps, it suggests looking realistically. Thanks for visiting.
